The Mehndi party is a pre-wedding celebration in Hindu culture. It provides an opportunity for the bride and her close ones to come together, celebrate and enjoy the artistry of mehndi as a kick-off to the wedding festivities. We invite everyone to enjoy a night full of food, music, and dancing!

Since many of you will be traveling from out of town, we want to spend as much time with you all as possible when you're here! We are hosting a cocktail hour in our hotel, The River Terrace Inn, on one of the patios which overlooks the river. Wine and beer will be provided. Please stop by and say hi!

The ceremony and reception dinner will be outdoors on the lawns by the small pond and willow tree, followed by drinks and dancing in the Barn space.

150 Wagner Rd, Sonoma, CA 95476Located at the south end of Sonoma County, the Barn is roughly halfway between Petaluma to the west and Napa to the east. The venue is about an hour drive north from San Francisco, or half an hour south from Santa Rosa. For more information about where to stay, please scroll down to our accommodations section.
MapSTAY
The venue is in Sonoma, but it's only a short drive from the cities of Napa and Petaluma, where there are plenty of hotels. That being said, June is a popular time in wine country, so please book sooner rather than later! We, along with the bridal party, will be staying in Napa at the River Terrace Inn, where you are most welcome to join us! Alternatively, we also have reserved a block of rooms in Petaluma at the Sheraton.

When is the deadline to RSVP?
Please RSVP before March 31st, 2024 so we can get an accurate headcount as soon as possible.

We respectfully request no children or pets at the wedding ceremony or reception.
What time should I arrive at The Barn on June 15?
Please arrive between 3:00pm and 3:30pm to make sure you don't miss anything.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is a small parking lot available nearby.
What's the transportation situation like?
We have been warned that it might be difficult to call an Uber or Lyft back to the hotel spur of the moment, so if you want to do this, we strongly recommend booking one in advance. You should be able to do this through the app. If you prefer an old-fashioned taxi service, we have a few options:
